Speak Low Productions launches its inaugural season with "Verily 80’s Romeo & Juliet", Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy reimagined in a 1980s American high school. Featuring a completely gender-swapped cast while preserving Shakespeare’s original language, the production brings a new perspective to familiar relationships, rivalries, and expectations. Funny, romantic, nostalgic, and heartbreaking, it invites audiences to rediscover a story they thought they already knew.
